Health & Safety Manager

I was born and raised in Gateshead and joined the Royal Navy after leaving school. After serving in the Royal Navy I joined Saint – Gobain in 1986. Starting as a quality technician in glass manufacturing. In 1989 I became involved in Safety Management which took me on a journey for the last 24 years being involved in safety practices across various roles including my present one here at Dyno.

Trying to keep people safe whilst at work is a passion.

I am heavily involved in local and national charities through the Masonic Fraternity.
I enjoy spending time with family and close friends and have an active social life. My 4 grandchildren keep me busy.

Office Manager

I started with Dyno in 2010 as an administrator. I have worked my way up since then, becoming dispatch manager, drainage manager and now managing the office. We have been adapting the business to grow with customers’ needs; continuously reviewing and updating our practices.

We have created a great atmosphere in the office which I believe began with creating a wellbeing programme. We offer what support we can to all of our employees, raise money for charities and organised our ‘Wellbeing Activity Day’ which has been a huge success.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling to different countries and I’m a big foodie!
