Dyno Plumbing Are seeking highly competent and experienced Plumbing (and/or Gas) engineers. A full Time position including PAYE salary and excellent commission structure. If you are pro-active, energetic and have the drive and determination to offer an unrivalled service for the Domestic Plumbing and Heating market - then this role could be for you.

You will be carrying out all types of plumbing work, including reactive plumbing, installing cylinders, cold water storage tanks, and general maintenance.

If Gas accredited - you will need to prove that you have good fault diagnosis skills on all types of boilers, being able to use a Multi Meter and to follow fault finding procedures.

The Person

Ideally the candidate will live in the Working Area.

Before applying, please ensure you that you meet the following requirements

  • You have completed your NVQ2 6089/6189 or equivalent in plumbing with proven experience.
  • You are self-motivated and self-managing
  • You have a full UK driving licence
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in the industry after your initial training. You will be provided with a company van with a fuel card for business use only.
  • Please ensure that you can provide all certificates for your current Qualifications
  • A fully stocked van, PPE Kit, Field Computer/Tablet and full uniform will be supplied
  • You will need to supply your own tools
  • On call emergency rota

The Person

  • Previous experience within a dispatch role and real time engineer management
  • Must have excellent customer service skills, commercial understanding and an awareness of productivity
  • Must have excellent IT skills and be proficient in Excel and Word
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and react quickly to customer requirements
  • An understanding of plumbing works is an advantage but not essential
  • Must integrate well as a team player but be happy to assume responsibility for their own work area
  • Excellent phone manor and calm under pressure
  • Have a desire to progress their career and progress within the company

Responsibilities Managing the activities of between 6 and 10 engineers under your control, you will:

  • Distribute daily work schedules via CRM to field based engineer terminals
  • Manage the work areas of each engineer to reduce down time, travel and enhance customer satisfaction and productivity
  • Update job notes, customer and engineer comments
  • Liaise with customers throughout the working day with ETA updates, job updates and re-scheduling of appointments
  • Assume responsibility for the area under control and delivery an exceptional level of customer service
  • Provide weekly updates on engineer performance
  • Liaise with Key Account customers and provide work in progress updates and job notes
  • Establish excellent working relationships with engineer staff and assist with their queries
  • Resolves service problems in accordance within set deadlines
  • Providing a high level of customer service and communication, ensuring all information requests are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Liaison with our Sales Team with regards to both current and new customer enquiries and job bookings
  • Work closely with our Dyno National call centre and provide timely updates and job specific information when required
  • Manage engineer overtime dependent on work volumes and engineer availability
  • Be prepared to learn and have a good geographical understanding of the area of responsibility
  • See Customers jobs through to duration and complaints
  • Report directly into the Office Manager

At Dyno our expert Drainage Engineers are on hand to attend emergency repairs day and night. We are looking for quality and safety driven engineers to join our expanding team. You will need to have a passion for customer service and problem solving along with the dedication needed when working for a 24/7, 365 day a year company.

Once you are on-board you will be equipped with your own van, tools, uniform and all the necessary equipment to enable you to exceed expectations. You will positively promote British Gas and Dyno, offering safety and efficiency advice to all of our valued customers. You will have the expertise to deal with blockages, overflows and floods along with carrying out surveys and preparing estimates. With no problem too big, your work can range from a kitchen sink with a bad smell to a commercial drain affecting business.

Responsibilities:

  • You will need to have experience in High Pressure Water Jetting, confined spaces and working in both domestic and commercial surroundings.
  • Experience in CCTV surveying for those hard to diagnose blockages is desirable.
  • You will also need to hold a current full UK Driving License ideally with no more than 6 points.

Our Sales Team are looking for an enthusiastic school or college leaver who is willing to learn, is flexible, adaptable and interested in a career in business administration and Sales.
